About The Position

The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences is seeking a 9-month, non-tenure earning, Visiting Instructor of Psychology. This position will be a 1-year appointment with a 9-month contract. Position responsibilities include a 4/4 teaching load (or its equivalent), with some service expectations.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Psychology, although strong ABD and Master’s candidates will be considered
• Strong interest and ability in teaching undergraduate courses such as Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods, and upper division courses based upon the candidate’s expertise
• Background check
• Credit check may be required
• Designated as a “Responsible Employee” pursuant to their role under Title IX, and must promptly report allegations of sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and child sexual abuse to the University’s Title IX Administrator or any divisional Title IX Coordinator.
