About The Position

The Department of English is seeking a 9-month, non-tenure earning, Visiting Instructor of English. Position responsibilities include a 4/4 teaching load or its equivalent, and service.

Requirements

• Earned a Master of Arts in English, or comparable graduate degree.
• Teaching experience at the university level, or equivalent experience preparing curriculum and planning.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching a variety of college-level writing courses in the first year.
• Technical and professional communications coursework.
• Literature or theater coursework.

Responsibilities

• Teach a 4/4 teaching load or its equivalent.
• Perform service duties as assigned.
