Florida Atlantic University (FAU) is seeking a Visiting Instructor for its Phyllis and Harvey Sandler School of Social Work. This 12-month, non-tenure-track faculty position is designed for an educator dedicated to teaching excellence, student engagement, and professional service. The role will primarily support instructional needs across the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), Master of Social Work (MSW), and Doctor of Social Work (DSW) programs. Responsibilities include teaching on the Boca Raton and Davie campuses, as well as in online environments. Faculty are expected to contribute to a collaborative, student-centered academic community that values innovative teaching, interdisciplinary engagement, and community partnerships. The position involves curriculum delivery, student mentoring, participation in School and University service activities, and collaboration to support programmatic growth and student success.
