About The Position

The Department of Philosophy at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a visiting full-time faculty position for the Spring 2026 semester. This position requires expertise in Metaphysics, and God and the Problem of Evil. Visiting full-time faculty teach 3 courses each semester and are eligible to apply for support for conference presentations or professional development through the Provost’s Supplemental Research Fund. The College will support reimbursement of relocation costs within its published policies. This position offers a salary of $35,000 for the semester and includes full benefits. The College will not support H-1B applications that require the $100,000 employer fee.

Requirements

• Demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching and inclusive pedagogies as informed by current practice and scholarship in the field.
