About The Position

The Environmental Studies Department at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a visiting part-time faculty position to teach one course in Environmental Law during the fall semester. The course meeting days and time are flexible. The department is committed to liberal arts education and fosters meaningful collaborations among faculty and across courses. The College of the Holy Cross is a highly selective Catholic liberal arts college in the Jesuit tradition, enrolling about 3,200 students and located in Worcester, Massachusetts. Requirements

  • Demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching and inclusive pedagogies as informed by current practice and scholarship in the field.
  • Possess relevant professional experience in the practice of environmental law or policy making.
  • Submit a letter of application.
  • Submit a current curriculum vitae.
  • Submit a statement on teaching philosophy and interests.
  • Submit graduate transcripts (Ph.D. preferred).
  • Submit two confidential letters of recommendation.
  • Address in the cover letter the ways you might contribute to and further the College’s mission as a Jesuit, undergraduate liberal arts college.
