The school seeks candidates to teach undergraduate courses in medical anthropology and medical sociology with the potential to add courses including introduction to sociology, crime and deviance, and contemporary social theory, as well as additional courses in their area(s) of expertise based on the needs of the school and college. The typical teaching load is the equivalent of 12 credits per semester. The successful candidate will demonstrate the capacity for excellence in teaching, and also engage in curriculum development and participate in academic advising, recruiting, course and program assessment, and service to the school, college and university.
