About The Position
The Department of Physics at the Ohio State University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor. This position requires active engagement with a renovation project, including at least three business days onsite every six weeks and virtual participation in biweekly status meetings. The role is temporary and fixed-term.
Requirements
- PhD in Physics or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in AMO physics.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and renovation project stakeholders.
- Ability to fulfill the position’s onsite and virtual participation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain active engagement with the renovation project by working onsite for at least three business days during each six-week period to collaborate with renovation leads.
- Participate virtually in all biweekly renovation status meetings when not attending in person.
