About The Position

The College of Dentistry at The Ohio State University seeks applications for a Visiting Assistant/Associate Professor faculty position in the Division of Periodontology. Responsibilities include providing support to the research, academic, and clinical programs within the Division of Periodontology, College of Dentistry; Managing clinical research projects, including IRB submission and maintenance, subject recruitment and retention, data collection and storage, research outcome reports and presentation; providing clinical instruction to dental students and residents; performing other duties as assigned. This is a grant funded, term appointment and will last for a maximum of 3 years under the direction the division chair, Dr. Albert Chan.

Requirements

Dental hygiene degree or a D.D.S./D.M.D. from a CODA-accredited program
Eligible for a regular or limited teaching license by the Ohio State Dental Board
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Desire to create an environment that promotes collegiality, collaboration, and cultural diversity among members of various education, research, and service communities
Willingness to serve as a role model and advocate for the ideals of professionalism and high ethical standards in a health science educational setting
