About The Position

Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor to teach undergraduate and graduate courses beginning Spring Semester 2027. Responsibilities include teaching courses in our Undergraduate Inclusive Education (IEP) and Graduate Special Education (GSEP) Programs. Our Inclusive Education Program meets the increasing demands in the field for educators prepared to teach all learners in both general education content and integrated methods, and special education student-centered supports and practices. The Inclusive Education Program leads to three licenses and an endorsement: PK-5 Primary Licensure (General Education), K-12 Mild/Moderate Intervention Specialist Licensure, and K-12 Moderate/Intensive Intervention Specialist Licensure, and the K-12 TESOL Endorsement (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). Our online Graduate Special Education Program results in a Master's degree in Special Education and/or K-12 Intervention Specialist teacher licensure. This is an on-campus position and requires in-person presence on the Oxford campus. Appointment begins in January 2027. Requirements

For appointment as a Visiting Assistant Professor, earned doctoral degree by date of appointment in Special Education or closely related field.
For appointment as Instructor, Master’s degree in Special Education or closely related field with a minimum of 5 years professional teaching experience in a PK-12 setting.

Responsibilities
