The Race, Ethnicity, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (REGSS) Department in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire seeks to hire a Visiting Assistant Professor in Critical Hmong Studies. This two-year position begins on August 13, 2027. The position may be extended to a third year. We seek applicants whose research interests, qualifications, and/or experience relate to one or more of the following: Commitment to an intersectional approach to Hmong and Hmong American issues, especially as they relate to race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, social class, indigeneity and decolonization, disability, etc. Interest in the educational development and mentoring of Critical Hmong Studies students and students from affiliated organizations on campus.
