About The Position

The Department of Health Sciences and Human Performance within the College of Natural and Health Sciences at the University of Tampa is seeking a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor to begin in August 2026. This teaching-focused position may include some service requirements and will primarily involve teaching the two-semester sequence of human anatomy and physiology courses. Requirements

  • Earned Doctorate by August 2026 is preferred, but an earned Master’s Degree in a Health Sciences and Human Performance-related discipline will be considered.
  • Demonstrated expertise in human anatomy and physiology.
  • Prior in-person teaching experience at the university level.
  • Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence at the university level.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in teaching in-person anatomy and physiology for nursing and health sciences.
