About The Position

Sacred Heart University is seeking a full-time, non-tenure-track Assistant Teaching Professor of Anatomy and Physiology for the Department of Biology. The successful candidate will be dedicated to undergraduate teaching excellence, primarily instructing Anatomy and Physiology courses for biology majors, nursing students, and allied health programs. This role requires an engaging educator passionate about student success and committed to creating active, inclusive learning environments for a diverse student body. The university also encourages candidates with the interest and expertise to develop a foundational biology course for non-science majors. The appointee will join a collegial department focused on teaching, student mentorship, and experiential learning, contributing to the department's instructional mission and fostering a supportive environment for all students.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Biology or a related field in the biological sciences (ABD considered).
