About The Position

PurposeCare is seeking a qualified, dependable, honest, and reliable Visit Verification Coordinator to join their family and care for the needs of their clients. PurposeCare is a leading provider of home care and home health services in the Midwest, serving over 3,000 clients monthly. They focus on coordinating care to keep clients healthy and safe at home, ensuring vulnerable individuals have the support needed to live full lives in their community. This role provides administrative support in a fast-paced healthcare organization.

Requirements

• Insurance verification experience required
• Experience with Microsoft products: Teams, Excel
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Work collaboratively with other teams in the department to ensure a seamless workflow
• Maintain proficiency in insurance verifications forms, protocols, procedures, websites and proprietary software

Responsibilities

• Enter new patient information
• Verify patient information of all agency records
• Assist with filing, scanning and answering phones as needed
• Perform pre-certification on patients and communicate with clinicians as needed
• Work with intake department as needed to expedite scheduling of new patients
• Maintain confidentiality of all agency records
• Other responsibilities as assigned
• Perform insurance verification phone calls and web-portal tasks as needed
• Participate cross-functionally with pre-certification tasks as needed
