This role is responsible for performing clerical functions for patient billing, including verifying insurance information and resolving issues to ensure a clean billing process. The position involves following up on accounts requiring further evaluation and making calls to obtain verbal insurance verification, requiring strong phone communication skills. Candidates must be able to work quickly and efficiently to process verifications in a timely manner and meet the needs of patients and providers. The role supports the Eligibility and Benefits Department hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with schedules provided weekly based on provider clinic, patient, and surgery schedules.
