Requirements
- 1 year of work experience in Medical Insurance Verification is required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities
- Verify patient eligibility and insurance benefits through online payer portals and direct calls to insurance companies.
- Accurately complete benefit verification forms in the EMR system.
- Follow established department procedures to ensure benefit investigations are completed in a timely manner.
- Communicate with internal Patient Financial Services staff and external practice managers to resolve discrepancies in demographic or insurance information.
- Review, update, and maintain accurate demographic and insurance data in the EMR system.
- Support and actively participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing individual, departmental, and organizational performance.
