This position is responsible for driving sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and in-stock and inventory levels. The role involves budgeting and forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs. The Vision Center Manager oversees the implementation of and participates in community outreach programs and encourages Associates to serve as good members of the community. They ensure compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for the Vision Center by analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, overseeing reviews, developing action plans, and directing Associates in ensuring confidentiality. The role also involves supervising and developing Associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset. Additionally, the manager ensures the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with and educating Members/Customers, selecting products, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, performing minor frame repairs, and maintaining Optical equipment. They uphold the Company's Open Door Policy by meeting with Associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing policies, and suggesting resolutions. The manager also coordinates and completes job-related activities by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting initiatives, identifying goals, measuring progress, and demonstrating adaptability. The role emphasizes respecting individuals by building high-performing teams, embracing differences, creating an inclusive workplace, and attracting and retaining talent. It also involves acting with integrity by maintaining high standards, modeling values, and supporting the company's goal of becoming a regenerative company.
