This position is responsible for driving sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and in-stock and inventory levels. The role involves budgeting and forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs. The Vision Center Manager oversees the implementation of and participates in community outreach programs and encourages Associates to serve as good members of the community. They ensure compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for the Vision Center by analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, overseeing reviews, developing action plans, and directing Associates in ensuring confidentiality. The role also involves supervising and developing Associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset. Additionally, the manager ensures the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with and educating Members/Customers, selecting products, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, performing minor frame repairs, and maintaining Optical equipment. They uphold the Company's Open Door Policy by addressing associate concerns, researching issues, and suggesting resolutions. The role requires coordinating and completing job-related activities by developing stakeholder relationships, supporting initiatives, identifying goals, building accountability, and demonstrating adaptability. The manager also ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports the company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity, and promotes a culture of belonging, waste elimination, and local giving. The role emphasizes acting with integrity, serving customers and members by delivering results and putting the customer first, making data-driven decisions, and balancing priorities.
