This position is responsible for driving sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and in-stock and inventory levels. It involves budgeting and forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs. The role also oversees the implementation of and participation in community outreach programs, encouraging associates to be good community members. Ensures compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for the Vision Center by analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, overseeing reviews, developing action plans, and directing associates in ensuring confidentiality and maintaining records. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset. Ensures the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with and educating members/customers, selecting products, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidential information, performing minor frame repair, and maintaining optical equipment. Upholds the Company's Open Door Policy by meeting with associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing policies, and suggesting resolutions. Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting initiatives, identifying and communicating goals, building accountability, and demonstrating adaptability. Acts with integrity, serving customers and members by putting them first, making data-driven decisions, and striving for excellence through continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies.
