About The Position

The Cardiologist, Virtual Care serves as a virtual health-care provider who specializes in diagnosis, management, and follow-up of patients with any suspected or known heart diseases. The Cardiologist, Virtual Care work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The Cardiologist, Virtual Care specializes in diseases of the heart and blood vessels and is part of a clinical care team that focuses on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention for elderly patients. The Cardiologist, Virtual Care manages complex cardiac conditions such as heart attacks, abnormal heartbeat rhythms, and congestive heart failure, as well as provides preventative techniques for dealing with potential heart-related illnesses. The Cardiologist spends 100% of their time clinically focused on direct patient virtual care, inclusive of patient facing time and general administrative time (charting, etc.) as it relates to direct patient care.

Requirements

• Medical degree
• 5+ years of residency and fellowship experience
• Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
• Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a certificate of special qualification in cardiovascular disease
• Certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine with a certificate of special qualification in echocardiography
• Must be screened for TB as part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient virtual care, inclusive of patient facing time and general administrative time (charting, etc.) as it relates to direct patient care.
