Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
One (1) years’ experience with environmental services required.
Must have a valid driver’s license.

Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for insurance coverage for driving the company’s vehicles.
Must become CPI and CPR certified within first 30 days.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required.
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with student instruction required (middle/high school preferred).

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, or sociology preferred.
Prior work experience in behavioral health treatment settings a plus.

Responsibilities

Cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces—furniture, floors, windows, and décor.
Ensuring proper signage is in place, managing wet floors, and keeping everything compliant with Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Emptying trash bins and keeping spaces tidy and fresh.
Performing deep cleaning when needed.
Replenishing custodial and office supplies.
Reporting any damages, repairs, or safety hazards to the facilities team.
Cleaning and maintaining custodial equipment like vacuums and carpet cleaners.
Assisting with preparations for admissions and discharges.
Laundering linens.
Safely storing and caring for all cleaning products.
Responding to custodial emergencies like spills and broken glass.
Creating a safe and supportive space by offering consistent, compassionate care and supervision that ensures patients’ emotional and physical well-being.
Guiding and encouraging patients as they move through their day whether attending therapy, group activities, meals, or moments of transition.
Leading or supporting experiential activities (e.g., mindfulness, recreation, group engagement) that promote healing and connection.
Modeling calm, respectful behavior and healthy coping strategies in a way that builds trust and emotional safety.
Documenting observations and interactions clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner to support treatment planning.
Staying grounded and responsive during high-stress or emotionally charged situations, helping restore calm through established strategies.
Collaborating with team members and communicating professionally to support a connected, unified care environment.
Upholding ethical standards and confidentiality, maintaining patient dignity and respect in all interactions.
Participating in ongoing training and development provided to grow clinical understanding and ability to provide trauma-informed, values-based care.
Safely transporting patients to and from program sites and external appointments (e.g., doctors, labs) following all safety standards and protocols.
Developing, in coordination with families and school districts, an individual academic plan for all students based on relevant academic information.
Coordinating with school to administer coursework in a timely manner when required.
Providing individual instruction and academic support to students through virtual instruction and school facilitated curriculum.
Overseeing math and science tutor, including, but not limited to, providing direction, feedback, and management.
Monitoring student progress, sending weekly email updates to parents, and completing weekly charting in electronic documentation system.
Providing daily and weekly assignment scheduling and supporting students in setting weekly goals.
Providing support, accommodations, and requested participation for IEP/504 meetings.
Attending required internal department meetings/trainings.
Communicating behavioral, academic, and attendance concerns to clinical staff and direct care staff to devise appropriate interventions to address concerns with students.
Attending weekly Treatment Team meetings, parent meetings, and clinical calls.
