About The Position

Framework is hiring experienced and creative tutors to provide engaging, high-quality virtual tutoring to elementary, middle, and high school students across a range of subjects. Tutors work one-on-one or with small groups, using provided curriculum and interactive slide decks to deliver instruction through a safe and secure online platform. Sessions last 15 to 60 minutes and focus on K–12 students.

This is a remote, part-time W-2 position with no guaranteed minimum hours. Tutors must reside and work in the United States and be legal U.S. residents aged 18 or older. Scheduling is open, with preference for availability daily from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. ET. Framework offers flexible scheduling, ongoing professional development, and a supportive, communicative virtual workspace.

Requirements

• At least one year of tutoring experience, virtually or in person.
• Completion of at least two years (60 credit hours) of college coursework.
• A reliable computer with a microphone and camera, stable internet, and a quiet workspace.
• Ability to pass a federal background check, which may include fingerprinting.
• Comfort using online teaching tools and platforms.
• Must be a legal U.S. resident, at least 18 years old, and reside and work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or higher.
• Prior online tutoring experience.
• Experience with SpEd or ESL students.
• Bilingual abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live virtual tutoring to students in one-on-one and small-group settings.
• Create a safe, fun, and interactive virtual classroom.
• Engage students in interactive, goal-focused learning.
• Adapt instruction to meet each student’s needs.
• Administer assessments as required.
• Maintain professional communication with the Framework Tutor Operations Team.
