About The Position

Framework is hiring experienced and creative virtual tutors to provide engaging, high-quality tutoring to elementary, middle, and high school students across various subjects. Tutors work with students one-on-one or in small groups, delivering instruction using provided curriculum and interactive slide decks. Sessions last from 15 to 60 minutes and take place on a safe and secure online platform.

This is a part-time, W-2 position with open availability; preference is given to applicants available daily from 5:30–7:30 p.m. ET. The focus is K–12 tutoring, and tutors must reside and work in the United States. Pay is $18–$22 per hour, with no guaranteed minimum hours. Framework offers flexible scheduling, ongoing professional development, and a supportive, communicative virtual workspace.

Requirements

• At least one year of tutoring experience, virtually or in person.
• Completion of at least two years (60 credit hours) of college coursework.
• Reliable computer with a microphone and camera, stable internet, and a quiet workspace.
• Ability to pass a federal background check, which may include fingerprinting.
• Comfort using online teaching tools and platforms.
• Must be a legal U.S. resident and at least 18 years of age.
• Must reside and work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or higher.
• Prior online tutoring experience.
• Experience with students receiving special education services or ESL students.
• Bilingual abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live virtual tutoring to students in one-on-one and small-group settings.
• Create a safe, fun, and interactive virtual classroom.
• Engage students in interactive, goal-focused learning.
• Adapt instruction to meet each student’s needs.
• Administer assessments as required.
• Maintain professional communication with the Framework Tutor Operations Team.
