About The Position

Our Virtual Branch Manager will supervise a group of sales professionals with strong leadership, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills. The individual must have a strong understanding of loans, products and services, and the ability to motivate and coach a focused sales team. The Virtual Branch Manager is a multifaceted position that includes management, lending, member service, and operational support functions delivered primarily through phone, video, chat, and online banking platforms. The Virtual Branch Manager is accountable for the profitability, growth, and overall performance of the virtual branch. It fosters new business, deepens member relationships, and promotes products and services to achieve established sales goals and business objectives while delivering high quality digital member experience. Responsibilities include compliance with regulatory requirements, auditing, meeting sales goals, monitoring performance metrics, and coaching employees toward success in a remote environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum five years of experience in a financial institution required.
  • Minimum one year of leadership experience required.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
  • Must be able to travel to meetings and training activities etc.
  • Professionalism in attitude and member and team relations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Credit Union or banking branch management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of sales and service techniques; credit union services and products preferred.
  • Previous knowledge, skills, and experience in planning, implementing, monitoring, delegating, conflict resolution, customer service, and training.
  • Strong leadership, planning, communication, and organizational skills needed with ability to communicate with all levels of credit union and the public.
  • Ability to prioritize and schedule projects and work responsibilities.
