About The Position

DineAmic Hospitality is seeking VIP Security Hosts who combine exceptional hospitality, sound judgment, and strong sales skills. This hybrid role serves as both the first point of contact for guests and a key member of the venue’s safety team while generating revenue through VIP table sales and relationship development. VIP Security Hosts greet guests, manage entry, enforce venue policies and liquor laws, monitor the environment for security concerns, and cultivate a loyal clientele through networking and personalized service. This position offers a competitive hourly wage plus commission on VIP table sales, providing significant earning potential based on individual sales performance. The ideal candidate is confident, personable, observant, and entrepreneurial, with the ability to build lasting guest relationships while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries and enforcing venue standards. Successful candidates thrive in fast-paced nightlife environments and are motivated by creating exceptional guest experiences, maintaining a safe and welcoming venue, and meeting established sales goals. This position is expected to work weekends plus certain holidays.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in nightlife security, hospitality, VIP hosting, or high-volume restaurants required.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Non-expired Illinois BASSET Certification required.
  • Ability to work evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours) while frequently moving throughout a crowded, multi-level venue.
  • Bend, reach, climb stairs, and lift or move up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Maintain situational awareness and exercise sound judgment while responding to changing conditions and potential safety concerns.
  • Communicate effectively in high-noise environments and professionally de-escalate conflicts while delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Availability to work evenings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and special events based on business needs.
  • Technical Proficiency with computers and POS systems

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience selling VIP tables, bottle service, hospitality, or luxury experiences preferred.
  • Existing client relationships or a network of potential VIP guests is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming, professional first impression by greeting guests and managing entry.
  • Verify guest identification and enforce liquor laws and company policies.
  • Monitor capacity and control guest flow to maintain a safe environment.
  • Enforce dress code and standards of conduct professionally and consistently.
  • Patrol the venue to identify safety concerns and respond appropriately to incidents.
  • De-escalate conflicts while preserving a positive guest experience whenever possible.
  • Remove disruptive guests when necessary in accordance with company procedures.
  • Work closely with management and local authorities when appropriate.
  • Maintain awareness of emergency procedures and respond calmly during emergencies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with guests to generate VIP table reservations.
  • Build a personal book of business consisting of repeat and high-value guests.
  • Promote bottle service, VIP experiences, special events, and venue programming.
  • Conduct personal outreach through networking, referrals, text messaging, and social media.
  • Coordinate reservations, guest preferences, celebrations, and special requests.
  • Serve as a welcoming point of contact for VIP guests upon arrival.
  • Partner with servers, bartenders, and management to ensure seamless VIP experiences.
  • Meet or exceed established VIP sales goals.
  • Represent the venue professionally both on and off property.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of venue offerings, bottle menus, pricing, and upcoming events.
  • Communicate VIP reservations and guest preferences to the operations team.
  • Follow all company policies, BASSET requirements, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Support teammates and contribute to a positive, high-energy work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
