About The Position
Community Day Charter Public School is seeking a Part-time Violin Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This position involves developing and implementing the Community Strings violin program for K-8 students. The teacher will be responsible for creating program guidelines, communicating with school leadership, and fostering a positive learning environment for students learning the violin.
Requirements
- Experience working with elementary/middle school students
- Able to hold lessons on Wednesdays, 4-6 PM
- Knowledge of the Suzuki method preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop policies and clear guidelines for participation in the Community Strings violin program.
- Communicate with the onsite Head of School and Director of Academics regarding all aspects of students' participation in the Community Strings program.
- Develop and maintain a positive environment and relationships with students as they learn to play the violin.
