About The Position
Music & Arts is seeking a skilled violin educator who is dedicated to empowering learners. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment and teaches students of varying ages and skill levels. They build positive relationships with students and parents through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates, and partner with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching and inspiring students.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
- Two years of music teaching experience, especially on violin.
Nice To Haves
- Further teaching experience on a related instrument.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
- Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
- Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.
Responsibilities
- Teach music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
- Build positive relationships with students and parents through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates.
- Partner with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention.
