About The Position

Community Day Charter Public School is seeking a Part-time Violin Teacher for the SY2026-2027 academic year. This role involves developing policies and guidelines for the Community Strings violin program, communicating with school leadership, and fostering a positive learning environment for students learning the violin.

Requirements

• Experience working with elementary/middle school students
• Able to hold lessons on Wednesdays, 4-6 PM (with flexibility for other work days)

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the Suzuki method

Responsibilities

• Develop policies and clear guidelines for participation in the Community Strings violin program.
• Communicate with the onsite Head of School and Director of Academics regarding all aspects of students' participation in the Community Strings program.
• Develop and maintain a positive environment and relationships with students as they learn to play the violin.
