About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a violin teacher to teach and inspire students in a supportive, engaging, and safe learning environment. The role involves teaching students of varying ages and skill levels and helping them grow through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates with students and parents. The teacher partners with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching and fostering students’ musical development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially on violin.

Nice To Haves

• Teaching experience with viola or related instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Build positive relationships with students and parents through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates.
• Partner with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention.
