About The Position
Music & Arts is seeking a Voice Teacher to teach and inspire students through private music lessons. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels. They communicate regularly with students and parents about goals and progress, coordinate with store teams on lesson scheduling and student retention, and use their musical expertise to foster student growth. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching. The listed pay is $12.77 per hour for non-teaching work, plus a teaching rate of $11–$28 per hour depending on background and experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of music teaching experience, especially with voice.
Nice To Haves
- Teaching experience with piano or related instruments.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
- Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
- 8 or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.
Responsibilities
