Vinyl Wrap Installer/Assistant Sign installer
About The Position
Saltwater Signworks is hiring an experienced Vehicle Wrap Installer and Assistant Sign Maker/Installer. The role combines vehicle wrap installation with sign production, table work, and installations at customer locations. Vehicle wrap projects are not scheduled every day, so the installer must be willing to contribute to a variety of tasks as needed. Pay is $20–$25 per hour, based on demonstrated wrap installation skills, sign production experience, and ability to work independently.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on vehicle wrap installation experience.
- Ability to complete wraps with minimal supervision; commercial wraps, personal vehicle color changes, or both qualify.
- Sign-shop production experience, including weeding, masking, and vinyl application.
- Ability to contribute to sign and graphics installations.
- Attention to detail, reliable attendance, a strong work ethic, and initiative.
- Good communication skills and ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Commitment to excellent customer service.
- Valid driver’s license for travel to installation sites.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with laminators and vinyl cutters.
- Experience with additional sign installations.
- Professional wrap training or certification.
Responsibilities
- Install full and partial vehicle wraps, fleet graphics, vinyl lettering, and decals.
- Prepare and inspect surfaces, removing existing graphics and adhesive as needed.
- Complete sign-shop table work, including weeding, masking, trimming, and applying graphics to sign materials.
- Install window, wall, and door graphics and assist with interior and exterior sign installations.
- Follow work orders and approved proofs, take accurate measurements, and verify layouts before installation.
- Inspect completed work for clean seams and edges, alignment, and overall quality.
- Communicate concerns early, help meet deadlines, and maintain safe, organized work areas.
- Travel to customer installation sites.
