About The Position

The Videographer/Editor develops video concepts to help Seattle Children’s system clients achieve communications objectives with specific audiences. The role provides support ranging from consulting services to full video production, including shooting, editing, audio, and color correction. The ideal candidate has experience in 2D and social media video production; a reel featuring editing and animation work is highly preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, video, digital, media arts, or a related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• At least five years of experience in broadcasting, an agency, and/or related video production fields.
• At least three years of experience scripting, directing, and producing videos.
• Experience managing multiple clients and projects at various stages of development.
• Experience with digital video production equipment and software.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a healthcare field or nonprofit organization.
• Experience with digital design and visual communications.
• Experience with various editing software and Adobe Suite.
• Experience managing projects from implementation through delivery.
• Experience in an agency/studio or client-facing department.
• Experience with many types of video cameras.
• Experience in 2D and social media video production.
• A reel featuring editing and animation work.

Responsibilities
