ASL/BSL- Video Quality Specialist (Austin, Texas)
About The Position
Welocalize is seeking bilingual individuals with strong technical video knowledge and experience in video editing to join their onsite team in Austin, Texas. This role involves working with AI-enabled multilingual content solutions to support enterprises in operating and scaling globally. The position is a W-2 contract with open-ended project duration, offering a 40-hour work week with flexible scheduling options (Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday, 10 AM-7 PM). The role requires a passion for digital video, knowledge of the film and TV industry, and the ability to troubleshoot technical video and audio issues, identify trends, and propose solutions. Successful candidates must have valid US work authorization without sponsorship.
Requirements
- American Sign Language or British Sign Language (must-have)
- Passion for digital video and knowledge of the film and TV industry
- Thorough working knowledge of common technical issues found in digital video and audio
- Willingness to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, and changing environment
- 2-4 years of experience working with digital video
- Ability to take initiative
- Track record of responding quickly and decisively to issues
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of subscription video content services and familiarity of their product offerings
- Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet knowledge
- Valid work authorization for the US with no need for sponsorship
