About The Position

Parsons is looking for a talented Video Producer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing a wide range of content, including external marketing pieces and internal corporate communications. This includes ideation, storyboarding, shooting, lighting, editing, color grading, and audio mixing.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in video production.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects within structured workflows, adhering to established processes, timelines, and brand standards
  • Strong ownership and self-management skills, with the ability to work independently and drive projects forward
  • Comfortable balancing autonomy with collaboration—able to take direction, incorporate feedback, and align with stakeholders
  • Experience crafting clear, engaging stories from incomplete or fragmented source material (e.g., interviews, b-roll, archival content)
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering polished, high-quality work
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-moving or less-than-ideal production environments
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize across multiple projects and shifting deadlines
  • Professional presence and strong communication skills, with experience interfacing directly with clients or stakeholders
  • Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams, including distributed or bi-coastal environments
  • Proficiency with professional production equipment, including cameras, lighting, audio gear, and stabilization tools (gimbals, sliders, etc.)
  • Proficiency in non-linear editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere); experience with motion graphics, color grading, and design tools a plus
  • Familiarity with or interest in leveraging AI tools to enhance production workflows (e.g., editing, transcription, scripting, or asset generation)

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in video production, digital media, communications, journalism, or related field.
  • Be a strong cultural fit – this is more important than the functional fit.
  • Operate UAS (drone) equipment as needed (or willingness to obtain certification)
  • Experience in corporate, agency, or technical/industrial environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own projects from pre-production through delivery, working both independently in the field and collaboratively within the Creative and Brand Management team to produce video, audio, and supporting content
  • Plan and execute shoots across a variety of environments, setting up and operating cameras, lighting, audio, teleprompters, and auxiliary equipment with a high level of attention to detail
  • Capture and assemble compelling narratives from a mix of structured and unstructured content, including interviews, b-roll, and fragmented source material
  • Edit and deliver polished content that aligns with brand standards, project scope, and stakeholder expectations—even when working with imperfect or evolving assets
  • Partner with the Motion Director and cross-functional teams to plan and execute video campaigns, incorporating feedback while maintaining forward momentum
  • Interface professionally with clients and stakeholders at all levels, managing expectations and representing the brand with confidence
  • Demonstrate strong judgment in balancing autonomy and collaboration—knowing when to take initiative and when to seek alignment within established workflows and processes
  • Maintain organization across multiple projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and approvals are met consistently
  • Contribute creative ideas that elevate storytelling while staying grounded in strategic goals and brand voice
  • Support production planning, including contributing to project scopes and budgets as needed
  • Utilize emerging tools—including AI-driven editing, scripting, and production workflows—to improve efficiency and enhance output quality
  • Operate UAS (drone) equipment as needed (or willingness to obtain certification)
  • Stay current on evolving production technology, software, and best practices
  • Provide video, photo, and AV support for events, conferences, and executive productions, including studio-based portrait work
