The Video Content Producer is responsible for the conceptualization and design of a range of marketing materials. As part of the internal Creative Services Team, the Video Content Producer plans and coordinates field-based and studio video production work from concept through completion, including the planning, filming, editing, sound mixing, and compression output and distribution of a wide range of products, and performs other related duties as required. The successful person in this position should have a strong desire for storytelling, have a contagious work ethic with a focused attention to detail, and strive to produce the work at the highest quality standards that incorporate video and editing knowledge and trends. This position requires experience translating and conceptualizing concepts into effective videos for digital marketing and online campaigns. The video content producer is creative and innovative, and will work with various stakeholders to create compelling storylines that complement existing content and advance the Hackensack Meridian Health brand. This role is responsible for overseeing the preproduction, production and postproduction of original videos based on business and marketing strategy for on-time and on-budget delivery to meet client expectations. The video producer is the key point of contact in video creation as well as the main client liaison, and controls budget oversight for the project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor`s degree in film, broadcast production, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in film, radio, television, sound or new media in a corporate environment
  • A compelling portfolio is required, which should demonstrate high quality of work across a variety of campaigns and projects.
  • Demonstrates technical skills in video, audio and post-production through familiarity with professional cameras, prosumer camcorders, various HD and SD formats, pre production/planning, studio and field production, lighting/grip, scriptwriting, storyboarding and photography. Additionally, work with small format mixers, compression, EQ, effects processors, audio recording techniques for studio and field, multi-track and waveform editing.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a group, and make decisions under pressing timelines and circumstances.
  • Must be able to problem solve and make decisions regarding abstract concepts such as tone and context of creative materials.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Meets business objectives through creative concepting and video production while upholding style guides and visual standards as it pertains to video.
  • Creates and develops multimedia (audio/video) content for patient stories, internal company announcement/event videos, external promotional videos, other network-wide projects, social videos, resident/fellow recruitment videos, and more.
  • Storyboard, allocate resources, work with client deadlines and select optimal forms of media for projects
  • In conjunction with marketing representative, interface with clients, stakeholders and staff; work closely with team to ensure their needs are met and offer creative solutions for each project
  • Work independently, as well as part of a team to establish project deliverables
  • Plan video shoots; scout, select shoot locations, and work with site personnel to secure shoot locations and talent/on-screen interviews.
  • Develop production schedules, as needed, and review all scripts for approval
  • Participate in the process of selecting and hiring additional crew and talent, when needed; direct and coach talent
  • Reserve and rent equipment, as needed.
  • Shoot high quality video used in television ad campaigns.
  • Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management and archiving project media.
  • Manage video library
  • Works with Video Production Manager to maintain all file backups and archive data in case of an emergency or loss.
  • Evaluate analytics and provide recommendations for optimization by collaborating with CTS marketing leads
  • Reimagine HMH YouTube channel and optimize to drive viewership
  • Provides creative guidance and services to hospitals and its subsidiaries.
  • Maintains confidentiality.
  • Quality checks work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Brings a wide degree of creativity to the position and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
