Requirements

  • Ability to work with minimal direction, focusing on goals and context rather than explicit instructions.
  • Proactive in pitching new ideas.
  • Balance high-quality production with speed and efficiency.
  • Treat every video as an experiment, involving hypothesis formation, publication, data analysis, and adjustment.
  • Collaborate effectively with content, design, and sales teams.
  • Possess strong video producing fundamentals and aesthetic taste, using AI as a tool for speed, not a crutch.
  • Report performance data honestly, including results from failed tests.
  • 4+ years of professional video production experience, preferably for a brand or in-house team.
  • A portfolio showcasing a range of work (long-form, short-form, polished, scrappy) with demonstrated results.
  • End-to-end video production capability: concept, shoot, and edit independently.
  • Proficiency in camera, lighting, and audio techniques for solo shoots.
  • Expert-level skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Comfortable using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Strong storytelling and scripting abilities, capable of finding narratives in diverse topics.
  • Understanding of hook-based editing, retention, pacing, and audience engagement.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools or a strong enthusiasm to learn and leverage them.
  • Self-directed with strong prioritization, planning, and delivery skills.
  • A continuous learning and self-improvement mindset.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in Film, Communications, Design, Marketing, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute video strategy, including formats, series, topics, and content calendar.
  • Conceptualize and script video content, focusing on compelling narratives and hooks.
  • Manage all aspects of video production, including shooting, lighting, and audio for various scenarios.
  • Handle post-production tasks such as editing, sound design, color correction, captions, and motion graphics.
  • Create and optimize long-form content for YouTube, including thumbnails and titles.
  • Produce short-form social media content (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) tailored for each platform.
  • Develop customer and sales-focused videos, including testimonials, case studies, and demos.
  • Record, edit, and repurpose webinars and podcasts into multiple content pieces.
  • Create performance-oriented video ads and test variants for optimization.
  • Track video performance, conduct experiments, and analyze data to inform strategy.
  • Manage video operations, including footage library, project files, and a streamlined request process.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to build a body of work and a career-changing portfolio.
  • Room for experimentation and a mandate to chase reach.
  • Collaborative global team environment.
  • Focus on work-life balance.
