About The Position

Supabase is building its video effort from the ground up, with video serving as an important distribution channel. The Video Producer will support the developer relations team by producing short-form and longer-form video, taking each video from concept through publication. The role includes working in person with the short-form DevRel on street-style content filmed on location. There is no studio initially; Supabase may build one if the format proves successful. This is an opportunity to shape Supabase’s video approach and gain experience across the production process.

Supabase is a Postgres development platform for developers, offering Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. The company is remote-first and globally distributed.

Requirements

• Have a portfolio and real experience producing short-form or long-form video.
• Have hands-on camera, audio, and editing skills.
• Be organized and detail-oriented.
• Be a scrappy, high-agency person who gets things finished and follows up without being asked.
• Live in San Francisco or be willing to relocate.
• Be interested in AI coding tools and the developer world; technical expertise is not required.

Responsibilities

• Create video ideas and write scripts.
• Project manage video productions, including shooting, booking crew, and editing.
• Work in person with the short-form DevRel on street-style content filmed on location.
• Keep production on track by managing schedules, shoots, files, and approvals.
• Publish videos across YouTube, TikTok, Reels, and X.
• Use performance results to inform future video ideas.
