About The Position
Holyoke Medical Center is seeking individuals to remotely observe patients through the organization’s video monitoring system. The role supports patient safety and fall-prevention initiatives, helps prevent elopement and disruption of medical devices or treatment, and promptly identifies and communicates unsafe patient behavior or situations to nursing staff. The Video Monitor Tech intervenes verbally through two-way audio when appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Remotely observe patients through the organization’s video monitoring system.
- Support patient safety and fall-prevention initiatives.
- Help prevent patient elopement and disruption of medical devices or treatment.
- Promptly identify and communicate unsafe patient behavior or situations to nursing staff.
- Intervene verbally through two-way audio when appropriate.
