About The Position

The Student Video Assistant position will assist the staff in support of the ISU football program. Tasks may include, but are not limited to: Video Tape Practices, Assist in implementing replay at practice – DvSport rewind system, Assist in practice duplication to coaches computers after practice, Use Catapult editing system to ingest practice to the video system and marking of video files for scouting purposes. All Athletics Department staff are responsible for adhering to the rules and regulations of the department, Big 12 Conference, NCAA, and university. Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs, climb ladders and not be afraid of heights to carry out the filming process. Must be able to work in a high pressure environment—can’t miss plays while video taping. Part-time hours. Work schedule may vary week to week and will include some evening and weekend shifts. This position is limited to working 780 hours per fiscal year. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
