About The Position

We are Wealth Without Wall Street, a company founded on the principle of teaching business owners how to create passive income and take control of their money. Our message has resonated, leading to rapid growth and a need for a dedicated Video Editor & Content Creator. This role is crucial for maintaining our content machine, specifically focusing on creating engaging short-form content for various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess a strong understanding of social media trends and analytics, and be comfortable working independently to produce high-quality content that aligns with our brand's tone and voice.

Requirements

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience editing short-form video content for social media (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
• A portfolio or reel showcasing best short-form work is required.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar.
• Experience in designing carousels and formatting content beyond video.
• Actively uses AI tools for editing, captioning, repurposing, and writing.
• Demonstrated ability to create compelling hooks, effective pacing, and engaging captions that capture attention.
• Experience with posting and scheduling content across multiple social media platforms.
• Ability to maintain a consistent publishing cadence without reminders.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Must be based in Latin America (Colombia or Argentina strongly preferred).
• Must have fast, reliable internet and a suitable home office setup.
• Must be available during core Central Time hours.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with financial, coaching, or personal-brand content.
• Basic motion graphics or text animation skills.
• A strong understanding and ability to define what 'on-brand' means for Wealth Without Wall Street.

Responsibilities

• Take raw footage (podcasts, Yaps, interviews, talking heads) and transform it into short-form content optimized for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
• Design and post carousels for Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Format blog posts when needed.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Strategist to manage and maintain the publishing calendar, ensuring content is posted consistently.
• Provide input on content strategy, including identifying what is working, what is not, and what content deserves more resources.
• Ensure all content maintains the Wealth Without Wall Street brand identity, including tone, pacing, captions, and hooks.
• Utilize AI tools for editing, captioning, repurposing content, and drafting copy to increase output without compromising quality.
• Monitor and analyze content performance metrics such as retention, watch time, shares, and follower growth, and report on findings.
• Identify and leverage emerging platform trends before they become widespread.
• Proactively manage content creation and publishing without constant supervision.
