This role is ideal for someone looking to make an impact for major brands and mission-driven organizations. The creator will be responsible for producing, filming, and editing engaging social media content, collaborating with creative teams, and managing assets. This is a hands-on, independent role requiring versatility across all stages of video production.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a "one-person band," managing all stages of production.
  • Proficiency in editing with Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • A collaborative approach and curious nature.
  • Comfortable operating independently in fast-moving environments with minimal oversight.
  • Experience working in high-pressure environments where timelines shift rapidly and content needs can emerge with little advance notice.

Nice To Haves

  • Portfolio that showcases on-trend, creative, social-first, visually compelling work.
  • Versatile storyteller with a strong creative POV.
  • Motion graphics, audio editing, or color correction chops.
  • Experience producing social content in fast-paced, digital news environments like Vice or Vox.

Responsibilities

  • Produce, shoot, and edit short- and long-form scripted social content from start to finish, including picture editing, audio mixing, color grading, and graphic treatments, with a focus on creating on-trend, platform-optimized content for social media.
  • Edit digital commercial ads for brands and social change organizations.
  • Collaborate with creative directors, copywriters, and strategists to align on content goals, while contributing a strong creative point of view throughout the process.
  • Source, organize, and manage assets, including scripts, brand guidelines, stock footage, music, and other media.
  • Prep gear or remote recording tools for shoots.
  • Manage all stages of production independently, from coordinating pre-production logistics to filming, interviewing and directing subjects, as well as editing.
  • Conduct interviews and direct non-professional talent, executives, clinicians, and community stakeholders while making subjects feel comfortable on camera.
  • Organize footage, create selects, and deliver polished first-pass edits that can be refined by internal post-production teams when needed.
  • Capture content across a variety of platforms and camera systems, from cinema cameras to mirrorless, mobile, and creator-style setups depending on project needs.

Benefits

  • 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) program with employer match up to 4%
  • Generous time off for vacation
  • $50 monthly phone reimbursement
