The Video Communications Engineer will be responsible for supporting all Advocate Health locations, navigating Service Now for ticket resolution within SLA intervals, and collaborating with senior engineers. This role involves understanding procedural documentation, recommending process improvements, and facilitating end-user training. The engineer will also collaborate with teams and vendors on technology solutions, define project scope, gather requirements, and lead the implementation of new video conferencing, Telehealth, and Digital Media services. Key responsibilities include configuring Cisco and Polycom UC infrastructures, operating AV control systems and codecs, designing AV conference room technologies, managing video conference databases, and performing system upgrades and maintenance. The role requires maintaining knowledge of current and emerging technologies and introducing them to stakeholders.
