About The Position

OneEighty offers exceptional internship opportunities for aspiring counselors, social workers, and marriage and family therapists. Our program provides a rich and supportive environment to gain valuable hands-on experience while working towards your licensure. We offer internships in a variety of departments, including Victim Advocacy & Outreach Services, Shelter Services, and Community Relations & Prevention. Internships are unpaid unless noted when hired. Lengths vary depending on your program requirements. Typically, internships in Outpatient and Victim Services last 3-6 months, with the possibility of extending to a year.

Requirements

  • Associate's/Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, required for Victim Advocacy & Outreach Services.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's/Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, preferred for Shelter Services.

Responsibilities

  • Gain valuable hands-on experience while working towards licensure.
  • Work in various areas of mental health, including outpatient services and victim support.
  • Participate in extensive shadowing opportunities before taking on a caseload.
  • Work as a valued team member from day one, with access to the same onboarding as new hires.
