About The Position

GDEV makes private equity and private credit investments in middle-market sustainable infrastructure businesses. The GDEV team leverages deep experience in project development, structured finance, and operations to identify top-tier management teams and help them navigate periods of significant growth and change. GDEV manages nearly half a billion dollars and has invested in over a dozen high growth companies. GDEV’s investments include a wide range of sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy technologies, with a focus on distributed energy resources (DERs). Our sector expertise includes solar power, battery storage, hydroelectric generation, energy efficiency, electrified transport, and sustainable fuels. GDEV seeks to hire a Vice President to join its investment team in New York City. The role offers exposure to all facets of the investment process, including sourcing, structuring, due diligence, financial analysis, and legal documentation. The Vice President will serve as a senior member of the investment team, with primary responsibility for leading the execution of new investments from screening through closing, and for managing GDEV’s engagement with portfolio companies through value creation and exit. The role carries meaningful origination responsibility, direct interaction with management teams and investment committees, and day-to-day oversight and mentoring of AVPs and Associates. The successful candidate will be expected to grow into a future leader of the platform as GDEV continues to scale its capital base and shift toward control transactions in equity and expand its credit strategy.
