About The Position

The Vice President is responsible for the overall development and administration of the programs in the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Coverage area - Delaware County (Delco), Philadelphia, Delaware, and New Jersey. This includes the provision of participant services, personnel management, and budget management. The Vice-President is responsible for the continued development of the agency, quality, quality improvement, and to carry-out the mission of Youth Advocate Programs, Inc.

Requirements

Strong leadership skills with proven experience in the management and motivation of staff.
Commensurate experience in community-based agency programs such as advocate services, community reintegration/re-entry, and alternative to detention/aftercare knowledge.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other database software systems.
Position requires reliable, insured transportation, current auto insurance coverage, and valid driver's license.
TRAVEL REQUIRED; Position is based in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Will be required to travel through assigned area.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree preferred.
Preferred experience in a senior leadership role, overseeing and managing budgets, financials, and operational outcomes over multiple programs and regions.
Experience working with state agencies, county governments, managed care, school districts, and other funding and referral sources is preferred.
Knowledge of an Electronic Health Record System (EHR) is a plus.
Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) speaking is a plus.
