About The Position

The Vice President will provide leadership and oversight for scoping analysis, solution design, and execution workstreams in the Charles River Development (CRD) development lifecycle, from engagement through testing and client go-live. The role serves as the overall solution lead for CRD product development items and supports timely delivery of development work for a large client onboarding project. The position includes program management responsibilities such as coordinating governance, project plans, stakeholder communications, risks, issues, and interventions. The Vice President will manage the project management team associated with the program and work directly with engineering scrum teams to align development schedules and deliverables with client implementation timelines. Charles River Development provides front- and middle-office solutions to State Street clients. State Street serves institutional clients with investment servicing, data and analytics, investment research and trading, and investment management. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
At least 10 years of financial services experience.
Institutional investment operations depth and subject matter expertise in one or more of: transaction management, reconciliations, corporate actions, performance measurement and attribution, derivatives, bank loans, or collateral management.
Proven leadership and program management skills.
Strong communication, interpersonal, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively on a global scale with all levels of management.
Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple matrixed organizations to reach common goals.
Organized, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Process re-engineering certifications and experience, such as Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt.
Professional consulting experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee scoping analysis, solution design, and execution workstreams throughout the CRD development lifecycle, from engagement through testing and client go-live.
Act as the overall solution lead for CRD product development items.
Manage product development governance meetings, including consolidating project plans and preparing meeting materials.
Manage the project management team overseeing projects associated with the program.
Lead stakeholder communication and engagement, monitor program progress, and escalate risks, issues, and solutions.
Drive project changes and interventions to achieve program goals.
Work directly with engineering scrum teams to ensure timelines align with client implementation timelines.
Manage key stakeholder communications, including management-level reporting.
Build and manage Jira and Confluence sites to track development sprints.
Work with scrum teams to define deliverables and release dates.
