Fidelity Investments•Boston, MA
•$130,000 - $264,000

About The Position

As a Vice President in Fidelity’s Asset Management Treasurer’s Office, you will collaborate with senior Asset Management leaders and Fidelity’s alternatives center of excellence to evaluate new alternative products and design, execute, and maintain oversight programs for significant business processes. These processes include accounting policy, financial reporting, valuation, expenses, distribution, and governance. The role works across the Treasurer’s Office and with back-office functions, legal, risk, compliance, and investment teams to consider product structure and the operational, financial, regulatory, and tax reporting needs of alternative products. You will assess oversight practices and operational readiness, support products through launch, and provide ongoing oversight of operations. Strong influencing skills and the ability to maintain and improve business-partner relationships are important. The Asset Management Treasurer’s Office provides fiduciary oversight of Fidelity’s funds, shareholder activity, and service providers. It sets and monitors adherence to fund policies and supports the Funds’ Boards of Trustees in fulfilling their responsibilities to Fidelity Mutual Funds. The office also supports expansion of investment capabilities by ensuring appropriate oversight is in place before new products are implemented. Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased regional and role-based rollout. Current onsite expectations vary; they may require 100% onsite presence or less, and are likely to evolve. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles. The position’s specific onsite requirement is not stated.
