About The Position

Hill International is seeking a Vice President in Seattle, Washington. This role is responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of a program, with overall responsibility for managing the established scope and budget for projects. The Vice President will ensure that assigned project managers are guided and mentored throughout the project, and will ensure communication between members of a multi-disciplinary project management teams, including both client and project staff. This role also oversees consultants and contractors involved in capital projects and facilitates strong communication and coordination between these entities. The Vice President will communicate and coordinate project status with staff from affected federal, state, regional, and local agencies, and regularly communicates project status, milestones, and issues with leadership. This includes the development and oversight of regular preparation of project status reports, including monthly reports for leadership. The role ensures project compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, codes, and standards. The Vice President serves as the first-level lead for all consultant and sub-consultant teams and is responsible for the development of staffing plans related to contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science in Construction Management, Project Management, or Architecture preferred
  • 15+ years of experience as a Program Manager
  • Organizing heavy and complex workloads, establish and adjust priorities, and accomplish objectives within established scopes, budgets, and schedules
  • Effective communications and interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with executive managers, city staff representation, and transit constituencies
  • Using computers and related software applications; intermediate to advanced computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) are required
  • Must possess technical and procedural writing skills as well as excellent verbal and presentation skills
