About The Position

The Events & Partnership Manager will lead the creation, planning, and execution of world-class automotive and motorsports events for CrossHarbor, including Willow Springs Reimagined, the Big Sky Ice Race, and other signature automotive gatherings. Starting with events attracting 3,000–5,000 attendees, this role will be instrumental in scaling these experiences into premier international showcases comparable to the Goodwood Festival of Speed or The Quail at Monterey Car Week. The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder who thrives in entrepreneurial environments, with experience in events, sponsorships, hospitality, and membership-driven clubs.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in large-scale event planning (5,000+ attendees preferred).
  • Experience in sponsorship sales and long-term partner management.
  • Strong operational, financial, and team-building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Expand and elevate the Big Sky Ice Race and other Willow Springs signature events, scaling attendance and programming in future years.
  • Create event concepts, programming, and activations to attract national and international attention.
  • Oversee end-to-end event planning including layouts, hospitality, entertainment, permits, insurance, and safety.
  • Manage vendor, contractor, and production partner relationships.
  • Drive sponsorship revenue across both major events and year-round Willow Springs programs.
  • Identify, pitch, and secure strategic sponsorships aligned with Willow Springs and CrossHarbor brands.
  • Build compelling packages and activations, ensuring sponsor satisfaction and renewals.
  • Establish operational systems, budgets, and service standards to deliver a world-class member experience.
  • Recruit and train core club staff while preparing to hire a permanent GM.
  • Initially operate as a hands-on producer while building out an events and sponsorship team over time.
  • Build and manage teams across events, sponsorships, and club operations.
  • Establish organizational structure and KPIs to ensure integrated performance across events, sponsorships, and club operations.
  • Partner with marketing to grow ticket sales, member engagement, and media coverage.
  • Leverage PR, influencer networks, and social campaigns to build excitement around Willow Springs and its signature events.
  • Develop post-event and club performance reports to measure ROI, sponsor impact, and member satisfaction.
