EducationSuperHighway, a national non-profit focused on connecting students to high-speed internet and low-income households to affordable broadband, is launching a new mission to address the reading crisis in America's K-12 schools. The organization aims to solve this by providing 1:1 literacy tutoring for students reading below grade level by the end of third grade. The federal Education Freedom Tax Credit (EFTC) presents a new funding avenue for this initiative. EducationSuperHighway is seeking an entrepreneurial leader to develop and execute an employer partnerships strategy, focusing on direct employer outreach and payroll processor platform partnerships. This role involves pioneering a playbook from scratch, managing senior external relationships, and potentially building and leading a team as the function grows. The initial six months will require a high degree of independence in developing pitches, building pipelines, and defining the future of this function.
