About The Position

The Vice President, Sales - SRS Building Products is responsible for leading the company’s overall commercial strategy and execution across sales, marketing, pricing, and customer experience to drive profitable growth in the construction materials distribution market. As a key member of the leadership team, the Vice President, Sales – SRS Building Products ensures the organization delivers superior value to customers, strengthens supplier partnerships, and maintains competitive positioning across all markets and product categories.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive sales leadership experience in large, multinational organizations, with a proven track record of driving significant business growth.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in strategic sales planning, market analysis, and financial acumen.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company’s commercial strategy to achieve revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability goals within the construction materials distribution sector.
  • Partner with the Pricing, Supply Chain, Operations, and executive leadership team to define business priorities, growth markets, and new channel opportunities.
  • Identify emerging trends in construction, distribution, and building materials to inform long-term strategy.
  • Lead all sales, marketing, and business development functions to drive growth across key customer segments, including contractors, builders, developers, and distributors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and industry partners to enhance market presence and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the development and execution of regional and national sales strategies to optimize branch performance and profitability.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to track sales performance, margin improvement, and customer growth.
